ITHACA, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's swimming and diving team finished the four-day Liberty League Championships in third place on Saturday, as RIT (1782.5) and Ithaca (1538.5) finished ahead of the Engineers.
Nicholas Stefanidis had the top finish of the day, coming in second in the Men's 200 breaststroke. Teammate
Anthony Acciani came in eighth in the same event.
Matt Abraham finished well in the Men's 3 meter dive, pulling in a fourth place effort. Junior
Dan Savidge also finished fourth, the top finisher of three in the 1650 freestyle.
Joshua Collins (fifth) and
Ethan Gadbois (seventh) and finished well in the event.
Jake Fassora and
Mike Dowd each brought in a sixth place finish apiece, was Fassora did it in the 200 baskstroke, with Dowd doing so in the 100 yard freestyle.
