MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - After a strong first day that saw him move to a potential flight win on Saturday, sophomore
Sid Srinivasan was victorious in one match on Sunday representing the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team at the Middlebury College Invitational.
Srinivasan advanced to the second round of the D Flight Singles by defeating Harrison Gradin of Skidmore 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday. His second round opponent in the semifinals was Sriram Das of Colby College. Srinivasan came out victorious, taking a 6-1, 6-4 win to advance to the D Flight Singles Championship. However, he fell short against Fletcher King of Skidmore by a final score of 6-2, 5-7, 6-10.
RPI returns to action on Friday, Sept. 29 as they prep for the ITA Regionals in Madison, N.J. hosted by Drew University.
