ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team had a strong showing on Tuesday night, as they defeated Bard College by a final score of 9-0 on the road in Liberty League play.
The Engineers did not lose a single point in doubles, winning all three courts by 8-0 final scores. In singles, the Engineers did much of the same with five of the six courts finishing 6-0, 6-0. The lone singles court not finishing in sweeps was No. 6 singles, but finished 6-1, 6-0.
RPI was led at the top of the lineup by
Aiden Drover-Mattinen and
Andy Zhu, while
Bryce Burnham and
Tasmay Shah soldified the middle of the lineup.
The Engineers return to action next Friday, April 5 at 4 p.m. when they play host to Skidmore College.
