TROY, N.Y. — The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's cross country program was celebrated when the Liberty League announced its postseason awards, headlined by junior
Julianne Bleskoski being named Liberty League Runner of the Year after a dominant 2025 campaign.
Bleskoski did not finish lower than second in any of her six 6-kilometer races this season and opened the fall with four consecutive victories, capped by her first Liberty League individual title in 21:17.3. She won the conference championship by 30.1 seconds, then clocked a personal-best 20:20.8 at the Paul Short Run to top a field of 404.
A six-time Liberty League Performer of the Week, Bleskoski closed the year with runner-up finishes at both the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional in Canton, N.Y. (21:28.8) and the NCAA Division III Championship in Spartanburg, S.C. (21:05.1). Her second-place result at nationals stands as the best individual finish at the NCAA Championships in RPI women's cross country history.
All-Liberty League teams are determined by finish at the conference championship, where Bleskoski's winning time of 21:17.3 secured First Team honors. She was joined on the All-League rolls by
Claudia Wolf, whose 23:06.1 earned Second Team recognition.
Ava Handel (23:37.2) and
Gianna Coryea (23:44.1) garnered Honorable Mention after strong showings to round out RPI's award recipients.
