LOUDONVILLE, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team edged Wellesley 4-3 this afternoon.

Nicole Ridenour (0-6, 6-4, 6-4), Victoria Sarabosing (6-3, 1-6, 6-2), and Anushka Jaiswal (6-4, 6-7, 1-0 [10-6]) all tallied singles victories to help the Engineers secure the close win.

RPI earned the final match-sealing point by winning two of the three doubles contests. Ridenour and Lorna Flores Gonzalez secured a 7-6 (7-2) triumph following a tiebreaker while Jaiswal and Sarabosing won 6-3.

The Engineers will next host NYU at 5:30pm on Saturday.
