Box Score LATHAM, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team was defeated 5-2 by NYU tonight inside TriCity Rentals.

Nicole Ridenour won the lone singles match for the Engineers with a marathon 7-6, 4-6, 10-7 victory in three sets.

Ridenour also worked with Lorna Flores Gonzalez to secure a 7-6 win in #1 doubles. The pairing of Gauri Muliyil and Taylor Chandler were victorious in a 6-4 doubles match to help RPI earn a point by winning two of the three doubles matches.

Looking ahead, the Engineers welcome the College of New Jersey to the Capital Region for a 2:00 pm tilt tomorrow.
