LATHAM, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team closed the weekend with a 6-1 win against the College of New Jersey this afternoon at TriCity.

Nicole Ridenour (6-4, 4-6, 10-8) and Gauri Muliyil (6-1, 6-1) each had success for the Engineers in #1 and #2 singles matches.

Kaaviya Kannan (7-5, 5-0) and Neha Saraswatula (6-1, 6-0) also cruised to straight-set singles victories, while Brooke Bauer prevailed for a 6-2, 5-7, 10-6 win.

Muliyil / Taylor Chandler and Bauer / Anushka Jaiswal accounted for the two doubles wins for the Engineers. Muliyil / Chandler won 6-2 while Bauer / Jaswal claimed a 6-1 triumph.

Moving forward, RPI will prepare for its spring break trip, which features the Engineers taking part in three matches in California next week.
