TROY, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's swimming team will be represented by five student-athletes at next month's NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, as Shannon Brown, Vera Korff, Sierra Pargett, Elizabeth Rose, and Colleen Whittaker are all headed to compete in Greensboro, NC.
Brown, Pargett, and Whittaker will each swim in the 200 and 400-yard freestyle events. Korff is also entered in the 200 freestyle and Rose will be in the 400 freestyle as well.
This is the third consecutive season in which the RPI women's team will be represented at the NCAA Championships.
Brown and Whittaker started the streak as part of the Engineers 400 freestyle relay squad at the 2022-23 championships.
RPI will also await the final results from this weekend's Region 3 diving regional, which will feature Ella Simpson competing for one of eight spots in the NCAA championship field.
The 2024-25 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships will run from March 19 to March 22 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, NC.
