TROY, NY - Sydney Blaney, Sophie Costello, Emilia Rojik, and Siena Smith of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball team have been named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

In order to be eligible for academic all-district honors, each student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and have met or eclipsed a 3.50 grade-point-average in the most recently completed semester.

Each team is allowed a maximum of four nominees for consideration, who all must also have played a minimum of 90%, or started at least 66%, of the team's contest this season.
