LATHAM, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team won every set of today's 7-0 triumph over RIT.

Nicole Ridenour battled for a 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 win in #1 singles, while four other Engineers claimed straight-set victories in the Liberty League win.

Gauri Muliyil and Kaaviya Kannan each won 6-1, 6-0 on the second and third lines, respectively, while Taylor Chandler (6-1, 6-1) and Neha Saraswatula (6-3, 6-0) earned points as the fifth and sixth seeds.

The Engineers won two of the three doubles tilts, with the pairings of Ridenour / Lorna Flores Gonzalez and Kannan / Anushka Jaiswal both logging 6-2 wins.

Winners of five matches in a row, RPI will continue conference play with a Wednesday meeting at Union.
