Box Score CANTON, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team claimed a 4-3 win against #31 St. Lawrence this afternoon.

Gauri Muliyil, Anushka Jaiswal, and Brooke Bauer all provided singles victories for RPI in the Liberty League victory.

Jaiswal (6-4, 6-1) and Bauer (7-5, 7-5) logged straight-set triumphs as the number four and five seeds, while Muliyil outlasted her #3 opponent for a 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 win that took nearly three hours.

Jaiswal / Bauer and Lorna Flores Gonzalez / Nicole Ridenour were also successful in their respective doubles matchups to give the Engineers the critical extra point. Jaiswal / Bauer won 6-1 and Flores Gonzalez / Ridenour came out on top by a 6-3 margin.

RPI  is next slated to host Bard at 4:00 pm on Tuesday at Sharp Courts.
