SCHENECTADY, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team pushed its winning streak to eighth in a row with a 6-1 triumph at Union this afternoon.

RPI, who sits #21 in the most recent national rankings, won five of the six singles battles and all three of the doubles tilts.

Gauri Muliyil (6-2, 6-2), Anushka Jaiswal (6-0, 7-6), Kaaviya Kannan (6-2, 6-3) Victoria Sarabosing (7-5, 6-4), and Neha Saraswatula (6-2, 6-2) each wrapped their respective singles victories in two sets for the Engineers.

Nicole Ridenour / Lorna Flores Gonzalez scored a 6-2 win, Jaiswal / Kannan logged a 7-5 victory, and Muliyil / Sarabosing were successful by a 6-3 margin in doubles play.

The Engineers will take on Vassar in the final match of the regular season on Friday before beginning preparations for next weekend's Liberty League championship.
