POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's cross country team continued its 2025 campaign with a strong third-place showing at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational, hosted by Vassar College this morning.
Paced by four top-20 finishes, the Engineers trailed only Williams and host Vassar in the nine-team field.
Leading the way for RPI was
Julianne Bleskoski, who placed 5th overall with a time of 19:06.1 over the 5K course. She was closely followed by
Erin vonHousen in 17th (19:38.8), while
Claudia Wolf (19:49.2),
Gianna Coryea (19.51.6),
Tessa Bossom (19:52.1),
Charlotte Koutalidis (20:07.2), and
Alyse Karanian (20:17.5) rounded out the scoring pack with top-30 performances.
A total of 97 runners completed the race, which was contested under cool early-fall conditions at Vassar Farm and Ecological Preserve.
The Engineers return to action next Saturday when they travel to Williams College for the Purple Valley Classic.
