WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. –
Julianne Bleskoski placed first overall to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's cross country team to a third place team finish at the 2025 Purple Valley XC Invitational, hosted by Williams College at Mount Greylock High School.
Bleskoski completed the 6K course in 20:39.3, comfortably earning top individual honors on the day by over a 80 seconds. Her finish helped pace a deep and balanced RPI effort, which saw six additional runners place among the top 25 overall.
Tessa Bossom (23:15.4) and
Claudia Wolf (23:28.5) finished 14th and 16th, respectively, followed closely by
Gianna Coryea in 17th with a time of 23:31.9.
Alyse Karanian ran to a 21st-place finish in 24:00.3 to round out RPI's top five.
Also contributing strong efforts were
Charlotte Koutalidis (24:35.6) in 22nd and
Francesca Mavricos (24:40.6) in 23rd.
RPI returns to action in two weekends at the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational on Saturday, October 3.
