RPI Athletics Names Jaden Krueger Assistant Director of Game Day Operations

TROY, N.Y. — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) has appointed Jaden Krueger as Assistant Director of Game Day Operations, a role that will bolster the Institute's home-venue staffing, game day presentations, fan engagement, special event planning, and marketing and sponsorship activations across RPI Athletics.

Krueger comes to RPI with more than five years of sports production and game-presentation experience, most recently serving as Director of Game Presentation for the Albany FireWolves (National Lacrosse League). In that capacity, he hired and supervised event staff and entertainers, authored and executed game scripts and runs of show, coordinated with venue and vendor partners, delivered sponsor activations, and produced post-event reports analyzing fan engagement and fulfillment.

Prior to his time with the FireWolves, Krueger served as Game Night & Event Operations Manager for Ignite Sports & Entertainment, supporting the Columbus River Dragons (FPHL) and Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots (Sunbelt Baseball League/NACSB). He planned and executed all aspects of game operations, including music and in-arena entertainment, jumbotron operation, and in-game promotions, while recruiting, training, and leading game-night support staff and managing mascot programming and community engagement initiatives.

Krueger's event experience also includes roles with the Grand Junction Sports Commission, where he coordinated events and sponsor activations and produced marketing assets, and with Colorado Mesa University Athletics, where he supported NCAA game operations in scoreboard/video board control, PA, timing/scoring, and event logistics. He earned a B.S. in Sports Management and Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University.

In his new role at RPI, Krueger will lead staffing and training for home athletic events, drive game day presentation including scripting, timing, in-venue entertainment, and multimedia coordination, elevate fan engagement with interactive promotions and experiences, support special event planning for tournaments, recognition nights, and campus/community initiatives, and partner with external relations on marketing and sponsorship activations that enhance the game environment and deliver value for fans and partners.
