TROY, N.Y. – The Union College men's tennis team won all three doubles matches on its way to defeating Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 8-1, this afternoon at Sharp Courts. With the win the Dutchmen improve to 2-5 on the season, while the Engineers drop to 1-4.

RPI senior captain Alex Franz (Westford, VT/Essex) earned the lone victory for the hosts, taking the third singles flight (6-3, 3-6, 11-9) over Dutchmen junior Alex Katz (Lexington, MA/Lexington). Both squads are back in action this weekend, when they take part in the Liberty League Championships in Poughkeepsie, hosted by Vassar College.
