POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Union College men's tennis team used three doubles victories to take a 5-1 win over Rensselaer, in consolation bracket play of the 2010 Liberty League Championships. The match was cut short due to time constraints. With the win, the Dutchmen improve to 9-8 overall, while the Engineers fall to 1-6.

Alex Franz (Westford, VT/Essex) earned the win at second flight singles (6-1, 6-2) over Union's Saul Kurtz. The Engineers are back in action on Thursday, when they visit Hartwick College (4pm).
