CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton men's tennis team claimed victory in all six singles and went on to sweep the doubles as the Continentals defeated Rensselaer, 9-0, on Friday. With the win, Hamilton improves to 5-5 on the season, while the Engineers fall to 0-3.
Despite the loss, RPI saw senior captain
Alex Franz (Westford, VT/Essex) play a hard-fought match at third singles. He played to a super tie-breaker against the Continentals' Jordan Petit, falling 6-3, 3-6, 10-3.
