POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Vassar College men's tennis team won all six singles matches as well as three doubles contests on its way to sweeping Rensselaer, 9-0, this morning at Joss Courts. With the win, the Brewers improve to 2-0 on the season, while the Engineers, who fall for the first time in 2011, are now 0-3 overall.

Andre Vorbrodt (Allendale, NJ/Northlands Highlands Regional) put forth a strong effort at second singles before bowing out to Vassar sophomore Andrew Guzick (Rochester, NY/The Harley School) 6-2, 6-4.
Fellow first-year
Jarret Regier (East Amherst, NY/Clarence), who represented the Engineers at first singles, also paired with junior
Patrick Russo (East Northport, NY/Northport) at first doubles. The couple fell to Ben Guzick (Rochester, NY/The Harley School) and Vassar senior captain Joshua Jasso (Olmito, TX/James Pace), 8-5.
RPI returns to the courts on March 5, when it visits Castleton St. (1pm).
