ORLANDO, Fla. – Freshman
Will Dickie picked up a victory at third singles after pairing with
Andre Vorbrodt for a win at third doubles, but it wasn't enough as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team fell to Wesleyan University (CT), 7-2, late Wednesday evening. With the win the Cardinals improve to 5-1 on the season, while the Engineers drop to 6-4.
Dickie (Acton, MA/Acton-Boxborough Regional) and Vorbrodt (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highland Regional) came away with an 8-2 triumph over freshmen Zach Mintz (East Hills, NY/Roslyn) and Ben Hudson (Bankok, Thailand/Stevenson School) at third flight doubles. Dickie then topped Donovan Suh (Los Angeles, CA/Beverly Hills) at third singles. The Cardinals took down every other match for the win.
