NEW YORK, N.Y. - Bobby Parker finished first in the 3,000-meter run for the men, while Grace Tilton posted a second-place finish in the same race for the women, as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Ramapo College Indoor Selects meet at the NYC Armory on Saturday.

Parker posted a time of 8:42.76 in his victory. Also on the track, the men's distance medley relay team finished third in a time of 10:41.92.

In the field events, Tyler Yeastedt finished third in the weight throw with a toss of 49-feet, 11.25-inches, while also recording a sixth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 47-feet, 9.75-inches. Stephen Silber posted a fifth-place finish in the high jump, leaping 6-feet, 6-inches.

Tilton crossed the line with a time of 9:57.76 in her second-place showing. The women's distance medley relay team was also successful, finishing fifth with a time of 13:22.24.

On the women's side of the field events, Lydia Frangos finished fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 51-feet, 3.75-inches. Andrea Ukleja recorded a throw of 37-feet, 5-inches in the shot put, putting her in sixth place.
