SOCHI, Russia - Former Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute standout goaltender Mathias Lange '09 was a key component to Team Austria's victory over Team Norway in Olympic action on Sunday. Lange finished with 34 saves on 35 shots, including 17 in the first period. The start was the first of the Games for Lange.

In 80 minutes over two games, he has stopped 49 of 50 shots he has faced. Lange made 15 saves in the third period of a 6-0 loss to Team Canada on Friday.
