PASADENA, Calif. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team completed its four-match California Spring Break trip with three wins after defeating California Institute of Technology, 6-3, at the Braun Tennis Center. The Engineers, ranked 30th in the nation, improve to 6-2 on the season. The Beavers fall to 4-4.
RPI's three doubles teams all posted victories before freshman
Matt LaBarre won at No. 1 singles, senior
Jarrett Regier won at No. 2 singles and sophomore
Anthony Kim won at No. 5 singles - all in straight sets. Two of Rensselaer's singles losses came in third sets.
The Engineers return to the court on Saturday when they host St. Lawrence University.
