Gracie Tilton Takes Fourth in Mile to Earn National All-America

LINCOLN, Neb. - Senior Grace Tilton set a person record, a school record and a New York State Association record in the mile at the NCAA Championship Meet, finishing fourth in a time of 4:56.01 to earn National All-America. She ran the final lap in 33.8 to outpace the fifth place finisher by .68.

This is the first National All-America for the Concord, N.H., native. She also competed in the NCAA Cross Country Championship in the fall.

Tilton is RPI's second All-America in indoor track this season, following classmate Ivy Muchuma, who was eighth in the weight throw on Friday.
