Meet Program

TROY, N.Y. -- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's swimming and diving programs welcome Capital Region foe Skidmore to Robison Pool for a dual meet. Events kick off at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Engineer women are coming off a second place finish at their own Kumpf Invitational last Saturday, following a dual meet win at Union on Friday. 

Freshman Shanny Lin (El Paso, TX / El Paso) led Rensslear, earning Liberty League and ECAC Upstate Rookie of the Week honors after winning several individual events and setting a meet record in the 200 butterfly, shattering the previous record by six seconds. 

The RPI men's team also finished second at the Kumpf Invitational, led by David Gardiner (Malta, NY / Ballston Spa), who won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:01.72. Robert Evans (Red Creek, NY / Red Creek) earned second place finishes in both diving competitions.
