The Engineers return to ECAC Hockey play, hitting the road to take on 15th-ranked Quinnipiac on Friday and Princeton on Saturday. Both games face off at 7pm and can be heard live on WRPI, 91.5 FM, and

LAST WEEKEND
Rensselaer hosted No. 6 Miami, falling to the RedHawks on both nights. The Engineers dropped a 3-2 decision on Friday, getting goals from
Chris Bradley and
Drew Melanson. The next night, Miami's Jay Williams recorded his second straight shutout, as the RedHawks defeated RPI, 3-0. Junior
Jason Kasdorf played goal for Rensselaer in both games, stopping 24 and 33 shots, respectively.
QUINNIPIAC SERIES HISTORY
RPI has played Quinnipiac 24 times with a 6-10-8 record, including a 3-1 loss in Troy in mid-November. The Engineers are 2-3-5 in 10 games on the road with the Bobcats and 3-8-8 in 18 total league games.
PRINCETON SERIES HISTORY
The Engineers and Tigers have played each other 108 times, with the first game occurring on January 18, 1952. The most recent matchup was November 14 with RPI posting a 3-1 win at the Houston Field House. Rensselaer holds a 65-33-10 advantage, including 45-30-10 in 84 regular season league games. In 48 games at Hobey Baker Rink, RPI is 26-16-6.
PUT ON THE BRAKES
With its two losses to Miami last weekend, Rensselaer has now lost its last eight games and is 1-9-1 in its last nine contests. The longest losing streak in school history is 13 games, which took place from March 1, 1930 through January 13, 1950. The Engineers lost 10 consecutive contests from December 15, 2007 through January 25, 2008, and twice lost nine straight games, the most recent during the 1965-66 campaign. Rensselaer's last victory was on November 25 at New Hampshire (2-1).
BACK ON THE ICE
The Engineers played last weekend's series against No. 6 Miami without seniors
Luke Curadi,
Curtis Leonard,
Mark McGowan,
Matt Neal, junior
Mark Miller and freshman
Lou Nanne. The four seniors, all of whom are captains, were suspended due to a violation of team rules but have returned to the team in full standing. The status of Miller and Nanne is to be determined.
