GAMEDAY: The Engineers host their first Liberty League contest with a matchup against St. Lawrence University on Reunion & Homecoming Weekend ... The Engineers are 5-3 overall and 0-1 in the league, while the Saints are 2-5 and 0-1.

HALL OF FAME INDUCTIONS: A special part of this weekend's festivities is the Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony ... This year's class includes Jon Branche '01 (football), Adam LoGuidice '07 (football, lacrosse), Anthony Ortolano (athletic trainer), Greg Derevianko '07 (diver) and Dwaine Alleyne '04 (track & field).

HOME AGAIN: For the sixth time this season, Rensselaer plays at home ... RPI is 4-1 at Harkness Field, all non-conference contests ... The Engineers have three more home games after the matchup with the Saints.

ALTERNATING: After winning its first three games, Rensselaer has alternated losses and wins over its next five contests.

FOR & AGAINST: RPI is averaging 3.25 goals per game while allowing 1.63 ... The Engineers have 120 shots on goal on 174 attempts (.690) while the opposition has 71 shots on goal on 116 attempts (.612) ... Rensselaer has taken 98 penalty corners, compared to 47 for its opponents.

MULTIPLE GOALS: The Engineers have five student-athletes who have found the back of the cage more than once ... Megan Jones and Jena Nawfel have both scored six times, followed by Angela Cascio (5), Mikaela DiBello (3) and Cristina Tellez (2).

SCHOOL RECORD: The 14 goals scored by Rensselaer against Keuka in its last home contest set a school single game record ... RPI's previous mark was eight goals, which came in an 8-0 victory over Westfield State on September 14, 2002.

GAME-WINNERS: Four of Rensselaer's five game-winning goals have been scored by Megan Jones ... Jena Nawfel has the other.

TODAY'S OPPONENT: St. Lawrence began the season with a 6-2 win over Morrisville State but lost its next two contests to SUNY New Paltz (4-2) and Keuka (5-3) ... The Saints defeated Wells (4-1) to pull their record even at 2-2, but have dropped their next three games ... In its most recent contest, SLU was beaten by Vassar, 4-1 in Poughkeepsie (Sept. 26).

2014 VS. SLU: RPI's Megan Jones tipped home a goal mouth pass with 9:22 to play in regulation to lift the Engineers to a 2-1 win ... Jones scored from junior Hana Murphy, who picked up a loose ball after a Julia Hudson save and sent it in front where it got past Hudson for Jones' redirection ... The goal snapped a 1-1 tie forged when the Saints converted a penalty corner just under four minutes earlier ... The Engineers limited the Saints to a total of nine shots (4 on goal) ... Hannah Clough made two saves and Mac Reininger came through with a defensive save on a penalty corner ... RPI pumped 29 shots toward the Saints cage as Hudson made 15 saves on 17 shots on goal ... RPI generated 14 penalty corners while the Saints had four.

HOME AGAIN: Following games at nationally-ranked Middlebury and Skidmore, the Engineers return home on October 16 vs. nationally-ranked Rochester (5pm) ... RPI is also home that Sunday, October 18, against Union (12pm).
