Reunion & Homecoming WeekendWILLIAMSTOWN, MA— The Williams College men's tennis team (2-0) completed the second game of it's 2015-16 fall season with a 9-0 win over RPI (0-1).
The first doubles pair to finish was Jose Raventos and Brian Astrachan (Williams) playing against
McKinley Grimes and
Sherman Uyeno (RPI). The match finished 8-2, with the Ephs winning.
The second doubles finish was Sachin Raghavan and Brian Grodecki (Williams) versus Alain Grullen and
Tristan Wise (RPI), Raghavan and Grodecki pulling an 8-4 win.
Deepak Indrakanti and Jordan Sadowsky (Williams) finished third, defeating
Anthony Kim and
Graham Harris (RPI) 8-2 for a sweep of the doubles competition.
The Ephs played strongly through the singles competition, with Williams players Raventos, Grodecki, Raghacan, Sadowsky, Indrakanti, and Auxin (Christopher) Yu winning their matches against RPI's Grines, Wise, Uyeno, Grullon,
Stephen Baxter, and Kim, respectively, to continue the sweep.
