The Engineers improve to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the league, while the Tigers fall to 3-4 and 0-3.
Rensselaer opened by winning each of the three doubles matches, including an 8-0 win at No. 1 by
McKinley Grimes and
Brandon Mazzara. The singles matches all went RPI's way, though two matches went to tiebreaks. Mazzara won at No. 2, 3-6, 7-6 (3) (4), while freshman
Tristan Wise won third singles by a score of 6-0, 1-6, 6-4.
