Men's Recap
GENEVA, N.Y. – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute placed all five scorers in the top ten in cruising to a second straight team title at the 2016 Liberty League women's cross country championship Saturday at Seneca Lake State Park.
RPI finished first with 30 team points, finishing comfortably ahead of second-place St. Lawrence (46) and third-place RIT (71). Vassar (108) finished fourth followed by Clarkson (125), William Smith (191), Union (216) and Bard (237).

Jaime Lord led the Engineers across the finish line, placing second on the 6,,000-meter course with a time of 22:27.9. An RPI trio consisting of seniors
Mary West and
Maddie Dery along with sophomore
Karina Bolton placed fifth, sixth and seventh respectively. Sophomore
Maddie Sturm, who sealed the team title for the Engineers, finished tenth in 23:48.3. A total of eight RPI runners crossed the finish line before second-place St. Lawrence recorded its fifth scorer.
Individually, St. Lawrence junior Megan Kellogg earned a second consecutive Liberty League individual title with a winning time of 22:06.9, good for a 21-second victory. Kellogg trailed Lord closely for the first half of the race before pulling away down the stretch.
The top 14 finishers earned All-Liberty League honors. The first seven finishers - All-Liberty League first-time honorees included Kellogg, Lord, Emma Jones (RIT), Caroline Driscoll (St. Lawrence), West, Dery and Bolton.
Individuals finishing in spots 8-14 were recognized as All-Liberty League second-team selections. Second-team honorees included Leah Livernois (St. Lawrence), Lucy Balcezak (Vassar), Sturm,
Andrea Squeri (RPI), Alison Davis (Clarkson), Rebecca Schwan (RIT) and
Allison Thayer (RPI).
