REUNION & HOMECOMING: Rensselaer (5-4; 0-2 Liberty League) returns home for the fourth time in its last five games, hosting No. 11 Skidmore College (9-3; 2-0 Liberty League) on Reunion & Homecoming Weekend.

HOME SWEET HOME: RPI is 4-1 at home this year, having defeated nationally-ranked Mount Holyoke (No. 20) and Montclair State (No. 7), along with Hamilton and Castleton, but losing to No. 11 William Smith.

ROAD STINT: Following Saturday's game, the Engineers play three straight games on the road, including league contests at No. 9 Rochester and area-rival Union.

STREAK SNAPPED: Rensselaer had won seven consecutive games at Harkness Field, dating back to last season, before dropping a league game to William Smith on September 24 ... The Engineers bounced back with a 5-0 win over Castleton and are now were 12-2 on their home turf over the past two seasons.

LAST TIME OUT: Melissa Grosshans scored on a breakaway off a pass from Lucy Stillman in the 75th minute to give St. Lawrence a 4-3 overtime win over Rensselaer in Canton ... The game featured a wild finish, as the Saints took a 3-2 lead with 40 seconds to play on a goal by Carly Dziekan, but Mikaela DiBello tied the game with her second goal of the day off a penalty corner after time had expired ... Trailing 2-1 at the half, the Engineers came out and dominated the second half, outshooting St. Lawrence 22-2 and tying the game in the 52nd minute off a goal by Claire Cecilio ... The Saints grabbed the lead back with under a minute to play, but DiBello scored off a pass from Taylor Clink to force overtime ... Rachel Kaufman stopped four shots for RPI, while Julia Hudson made a career-high 21 saves for St. Lawrence. 

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING: Rensselaer's top three point producers are underclassmen ... Megan Jones, who has 13 points (4 goals, 5 assists), is a junior, Mikaela DiBello, who has 12 points (4 goals, 4 assists) is a sophomore and Taylor Clink, who has eight points (3 goals, 2 assists), is a sophomore.

AMONG LEAGUE LEADERS: Junior Megan Jones is fourth in the conference in assists per game (.556) and fifth in assists (5) ... Freshman Nessa Costa is fourth in game-winning goals with two ... Sophomore Mikaela DiBello is sixth in shots (42), shots per game (4.67), assists per game (.444) and assists (4).

KAUFMAN LISTED: Sophomore goalie Rachel Kaufman is third in the Liberty League in shutouts per game (0.125) and saves per game (4.38) ... She is fifth in goals against average (1.75) and seventh in save percentage (.714). 

DEFENSIVE SAVES: RPI has four student-athletes who have made defensive saves, led by Mac Reininger, who has four ... Taylor Clink, Mekayla Wakeman and Casey Collette each have one.

LAST YEAR VS. SKIDMORE: Dani DeGregory and Gabby Hyman scored two goals each to lead the Thoroughbreds to a 6-0 win o... Skidmore scored four goals in the first 16:48 of the contest to take control ... The Engineers had opportunities to score with four corners in a five minute span late in the first half, but the defense held tough behind a pair of saves from Zoe McGuire ... Skidmore then added a pair of goals in the second half ... The Thoroughbreds held a slight 14-13 shot advantage, while the Engineers had 10 penalty corners to eight for Skidmore ... McGuire made seven saves, while Rachel Kaufman had five saves on the other end.

SKIDMORE TO DATE: The Thoroughbreds, who are coached by former RPI mentor Beth Hallenbeck, has played nine of its 12 games at home ... Of their three road games, Skidmore has outscored its opponents, 17-1, including a 5-0 win at Utica on Thursday.

COMMON OPPONENTS: Both Rensselaer and Skidmore have played Montclair State, Castleton and Utica - and both teams are 3-0 ... The Engineers defeated the Red Hawks, 1-0 in overtime, the Spartans, 5-0, and Pioneers, 5-1 ... The Thoroughbreds have 3-0, 10-0 and 5-0 wins, respectively.
