Let's Go Red! Golf Tournament

NORWALK, Calif. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team faced NAIA opponent Cerritos College and the Engineers were unable to capture a match from the Falcons, losing 9-0. Cerritos improves to 14-2, while RPI falls to 1-6.

Opening with doubles, the Engineers played a couple of close matches, with one going to a tie-breaker. They received a tough 8-6 loss at No. 1 and a 9-8 (3) defeat at No. 3. The Falcons carried that success into singles, as they posted four straight set wins, with the bottom two needing a tie-breaker set. RPI's Stephen Baxter fell 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5 and Anthony Kim fell at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.

Rensselaer continues its Spring Break trip on the West Coast with a match against Hardin-Simmons University on Tuesday at 11am.
