TROY, N.Y. - Senior 
Alain Grullon Gonzalez came from behind to win at No. 3 singles and clinch a dual match victory for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team over Vassar College, 5-4, in a Liberty League contest at Sharp Courts. The Engineers are now 6-7 overall and 3-2 in the conference. The Brewers fall to 7-12 and 3-2.
With the match tied 4-4, Grullon Gonzalez came back from dropping the first set, 6-7 (4), to win the next two with 6-2 scores. 
RPI jumped out to a 2-1 lead after doubles with 
Tristan Wise and Grullon Gonzalez winning at No. 1 and seniors 
Sherman Uyeno and 
Anthony Kim capturing No. 2, 8-5. Wise went on to win at No. 1 singles and Uyeno won at No. 2.
Juan Felipe Laso earned two wins for the visitors, winning at No. 3 doubles with Alexander Luckmann and at No. 4 singles.
Rensselaer returns to action on Wednesday at Union College. The Brewers host The College of New Jersey on Wednesday at 3:30pm.
