McCarthy, a junior defensive back, was selected as the Defensive Performer of the Week, while Kapp, a senior kicker, earned Special Teams Performer of the Week ... McCarthy was chosen after leading the Engineers with nine tackles, including four unassisted, while also intercepting a pass in a 30-15 victory at No. 25 Alfred ... His interception came at the RPI 9-yard line early in the second quarter with RPI trailing 7-3 ... Kapp was 3 for 3 on field goals and 3 for 3 on point-after-touchdowns ... His field goals came from 44 yards in the first quarter, making it 7-3, 30 yards in the second (7-6) and 26 in the fourth (30-7) ...
