TROY, N.Y. — The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) football program earned five selections to the D3football.com All-Region teams, led by
Aleksandar Maric and
Gage Swanger on the Second Team, with
Kayden White and
Josh Young named to the Third Team Offense and
Owen Boland to the Third Team Defense. All five honorees were previously recognized as First Team All-Liberty League following a standout 2025 campaign.
Maric collected Second Team All-Region honors at kicker after leading the Liberty League in field goals made and field goals per game, providing dependable points and tilting late-game situations with his consistency. Swanger joined him on the Second Team as a return specialist, topping the conference in return touchdowns while also leading the league in punt return average and registering the longest punt return of the year.
On offense, White capped a breakout season with Third Team All-Region recognition after finishing second in the Liberty League in rushing yards and first in rushing touchdowns. He powered the ground game with 891 rushing yards on 5.7 yards per carry and a conference-best 18 rushing TDs, and authored the league's longest rush of the season with an 80-yard scoring burst against Ithaca. Young joined White on the Third Team after pacing RPI's passing attack with five receiving touchdowns (t-5th in the Liberty League) and 26 receptions for 375 yards (11th in the league in receptions), providing a reliable red-zone target and chain-moving presence throughout the year.
Defensively, Boland earned Third Team All-Region at defensive tackle after anchoring the front with 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks; he also ranked among the league leaders (t-2nd in fumble recoveries; 14th in TFL; 16th in sacks) and added a fumble return touchdown.
