ORLANDO, Fla. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team, which established a school-record No. 27 national ranking earlier in the day, swept the singles on its way to defeating Hamilton College in a non-league match at the USTA National Campus. The victory was the fourth straight for RPI, which is now 7-1. The Continentals fall to 0-3 with all three losses coming to nationally-ranked programs.
After winning two of the three doubles matches, Rensselaer won each of the singles, five in straight sets. Sophomore
Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1, senior
McKinley Grimes captured No. 4, 6-0, 6-3, and sophomore
Zack Ebenfeld secured No. 5, 6-0, 6-2.
