RPI Athletics Crowdfunding | RPI #D3 Week Video

TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team hosts its first home meet since March 3 on Saturday when it welcomes Liberty League foe Hobart College to Tri City Fitness in Latham. The match, which features the No. 28 Engineers, who are 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference, and the 5-4 and 1-0 Statesmen, begins at 2pm. (The match was originally scheduled for 1pm.)

RPI last played on March 25 when it defeated The College of New Jersey, 8-1. Hobart, which has won two straight and three of its last four matches, hosted Ithaca College on March 29 and defeated the Bombers, 7-2.

The Statesmen defeated the Engineers in two meetings last season, winning 7-2 in Geneva in the regular season finale and then posting a 5-2 victory in the Liberty League Tournament Semifinals six days later.
