ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Each of the three doubles teams and three singles players all won without losing a game as the No. 28 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team defeated Liberty League foe Bard College, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The Engineers have now won three straight games and seven of their last eight games to improve to 10-2 overall. They are 4-1 in the conference. The Raptors fall to 1-6 and 0-4.
Following the doubles sweep, freshman
Brian Niguidula, sophomore
Zack Ebenfeld and senior
Alex Lee all won their singles matches, 6-0, 6-0, at Nos. 3, 4, and 6, respectively.
Rensselaer continues league play with a pair of home matches next weekend as Vassar College and Ithaca College come to Troy.
