MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The doubles team of Eddie Wu and Brian Niguidula posted a pair of victories to advance to the 'B' Flight Semifinals at the Middlebury Invitational. They are back in action on Sunday at 9am with the final scheduled for 11am.

Wu, a freshman, and Niguidula, a sophomore, won their first round match 8-6 over a duo from Middlebury before capturing a quarterfinals match, 9-7, from a team from Tufts. The pair from RPI faces the number one seeded team, a pair from Brandeis, in the semifinals.

Niguidula, the Liberty League Rookie of the Year in 2017-18, also earned a victory in the 'C' Flight Singles, 6-1, 6-1, over an opponent from Colby. 

Others from Rensselaer with a win were freshman Yudai Teruyama, 6-0, 6-3, in the 'D' Flight and the duo of Andrew Imrie and Dylan Payne, 9-7, in the 'A' Flight Doubles.
