MIDDLETOWN, Ct. - Freshman Phoenix Tamaoki posted a 7-6 (1), 6-3 win in the first round of the D Flight singles at the Wesleyan Invitational, but dropped his second round match 6-2, 6-2. 

Rensselaer had competitors in each of the singles and doubles flights, but Tamaoki was the only one to earn victory.
