ALUMNAE WEEKEND
Rensselaer welcomes back all of its alums for this weekend's contests against Dartmouth and Harvard. The Engineers close out the weekend against the Crimson on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
ENGINEERS DOWN DARTMOUTH
Five different players found the back of the net and senior
Josefine Hansen registered three points to lead RPI past Dartmouth, 5-2, on Friday night at the Houston Field House. Classmate
Lovisa Selander made 30 saves, bringing her within 10 of the NCAA career mark.
RPI FALLS TWICE ON THE ROAD
The Engineers went 0-2-0 last weekend, falling at No. 10 Colgate (4-1) and No. 6 Cornell (5-0). Junior
Sabrina Repaci netted the lone RPI tally, while senior captain
Lovisa Selander made 30 and 48 saves, respectively.Â
ALL-TIME VS. HAVARD
The Crimson lead the all-time series 17-7-2, including a 7-4-1 record in Troy. Harvard has a 17-6-2 edge in ECAC Hockey contests, with the lone "non-league" game coming in the 2009 ECAC Hockey Tournament - a 3-2 RPI victory, in overtime, in the semifinals at Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
RECENTLY
Harvard is 3-2-1 over the last six meetings, including three straight victories. RPI's last win over the Crimson came on February 11, 2017 – a 4-1 triumph at the Houston Field House, which included a pair of goals from
Whitney Renn.
Shayna Tomlinson and
Sabrina Repaci all scored in the contest, while
Lovisa Selander made 29 saves.Â
2017-18 VS. THE CRIMSON
Harvard swept the season series, winning by scores of 2-1 in Troy and 5-2 in Cambridge.
Jaimie Grigsby scored first for RPI, before Becca Gilmore and Keely Moy answered in the one-goal victory. Kat Hughes then scored two goals and added an assist in the season series clincher, with Beth Larcom stopping 34.
TOUGH AT HOME
RPI has an 8-3-3 record at the Houston Field House after starting the season unbeaten in five straight (3-0-2). The streak was the longest in school history to start a campaign. The Engineers haven't finished a season with a winning record at home since 2009-10, when they went 7-6-4.

Kira Bombay is 2-1-0 with a 1.60 goals against average and a .951 save percentage in five games (3 starts).

Lovisa Selander's 3,769 career saves ranks first in school history and second in the Division I NCAA record books, just 10 behind Brianna McLaughlin (Robert Morris '09).
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard is unbeaten over its last five games (4-0-1), outscoring the opposition 14-4 during that stretch. The Crimson are led offensively by senior Lexie Laing, who has seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points. Freshman Kristin Della Rovere (9 goals, 7 assists) and sophomore Becca Gilmore (3 goals, 13 assists) are tied with 16 points, while junior Kat Hughes (2 goals, 12 assists) has 14.
HARVARD IN GOAL
Freshman Lindsay Reed has started 19 games between the pipes for the Crimson, going 7-10-2 with a 1.98 goals against average and a .944 save percentage. She has collected three shutouts. Junior Beth Larcom is 2-1-1 with a 0.99 goals against average and a .966 save percentage in four starts, including a pair of shutouts.
