From the coaching staff:
"Claudia was able to make an immediate impact on our program in just one year. It's never easy transferring to a new program, but she fit in immediately with our values and her new teammates. I loved the edge Claudia played with. Her competitive nature and team-first attitude earned the respect of her teammates from day 1 on campus. I wish I had the opportunity to coach her for all four years, but I am grateful for the one year we had. Always there for her teammates, she found a role as a two-way player who could contribute at both ends of the ice. Even though her college career ended prematurely with shoulder surgery, Claudia continued to be a leader in our locker room and find ways to positively impact her teammates. I am most proud that Claudia will graduate from RPI with her MBA. Her future is bright and she will always be an Engineer." - March 2020
What others say:
"Gives her heart and soul into everything she does." - March 2020
"She was driven to win and never lost faith in her teammates. She was a positive energy in the locker room." - April 2020
"Claudia was only on the team as long as I was, but instantly she was a leader and a friend to everybody. Her heart and passion for the game showed through her play, and rubbed off on everybody else. She was a friend to everybody, and despite her career being cut short, she continued to support the team emotionally on and off the ice. Claudia had a major impact on my first year of college hockey, for she was such a great friend and teammate to me, and I am forever thankful for that." - April 2020
"Claudia would bring people together and have the most fun! Always bringing a smile to everyone's face." - April 2020
"Claudia is one of the nicest, most passionate and endearing people I have ever met. She has shown me that even in the toughest moments, the moments that seem like they can't possibly get better, that it is possible with a focused attitude and every ounce of effort you can give. I can't wait to see Claudia's success in the future!" - April 2020
