Suhas Krishnan and
Eddie Wu combined for an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles and the No. 27 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team won each of the six singles matches in straight sets to defeat St. Lawrence University 9-0 in a Liberty League match at Tri-City Fitness. RPI improves to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the conference, while the Saints fall to 5-5 and 1-2.
Following a sweep of the doubles, which featured a win in a tiebreak by
Igor Visnevskij and
Max Safanov at No. 2, the Engineers dropped a total of only 18 games in singles. They had only one game lost at No. 1 and No. 2 and just two games lost at No. 4.
