Box Score CORNELL, NY – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team punched its ticket to the Liberty League Championship with a 4-0 semifinal victory against Skidmore this afternoon.
After claiming two doubles matches to start the afternoon,
Archit Yemula (6-3, 6-1),
Tsubasa Okada (6-1, 6-2), and
Nico Luis (6-1, 6-3) each won their singles matches in straight sets to close of the sweep.
Aiden Drover-Mattinen,
Andy Zhu, and
Tasmay Shah were each well ahead in their respective singles tilts at the time the final match point was secured.

Joel McCandless were victorious 6-3 and Shah / Luis won 6-4 to account for RPI's doubles success.
One win away from their fourth consecutive league title, the Engineers will face the winner of the RIT and Hobart tomorrow.
