TROY, NY – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Department of Athletics has announced the results of this spring's RPi Giving Day challenges, as more than $317,000 funds were raised in support department's 650-plus student-athletes. 
 
"Thank you to our generous donors for making RPi Day 2025 a resounding success!" said Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Kristie Bowers. "Once again, our student-athletes, coaches, family, friends, and alumni showed up in full force to make this a truly special day. Your support empowers our student-athletes, strengthens our programs, and allows us to achieve our goals for the athletic department."
 
In total, RPI Athletics raised $317,301 from 2,467 different contributions, with both the dollar figure and individual gifts each representing a respective increase from the March 2024 RPi Giving Day.
