TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) softball program has announced its 2026 schedule as Head Coach
Amber Maisonet and the Engineers look to build on a 2025 season that saw RPI reach the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive spring.
RPI opens the 2026 campaign at a Spring Break trip in Florida on Sunday, March 1 (game times and opponents TBA) before returning north for a season-opening doubleheader at Williams on Saturday, March 14.
The Engineers are slated to play their home opener at Doris Robison Field on Thursday, March 19, hosting Russell Sage for a doubleheader beginning at 12 pm.
RPI continues a busy early stretch with home twin bills against Utica on March 21, then hits the road for doubleheaders at Hartford (March 22) and Oneonta (March 26).
Liberty League play begins with a home doubleheader versus Skidmore on Saturday, April 4, before road league dates at Cortland (April 7), Union (April 10), and Ithaca (April 11).
April features a strong run of home games in Troy, highlighted by doubleheaders against RIT (April 17), Rochester (April 18), and St. Lawrence (April 25), along with a midweek twin bill versus Hamilton on Tuesday, April 21.
The regular season concludes on the road at Clarkson with a doubleheader on Saturday, May 2 before the Liberty League tournament begins the following weekend.
