LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's outdoor track & field teams concluded competition at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held May at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex, highlighted by an All-America performance from Jack Czarnecki in the men's 1500 meters.

Czarnecki delivered the top finish for the Engineers at the national meet, earning All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the 1500 meters. Competing against one of the deepest middle-distance fields in Division III, Czarnecki crossed the line in 3:46.68 to secure a top-eight national finish.

Fellow distance runner Evan Lacey also represented the Engineers in the 1500 meters, competing in the preliminary round against the nation's top field. Lacey finished 20th overall in the preliminaries to conclude his national championship appearance.

In the field events, Alice Brambati competed in two events for the Engineers. Brambati narrowly missed All-America status in the long jump, placing 11th overall with a leap of 5.71 meters, just outside the top-eight scoring positions. She also competed in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing 19th nationally with a time of 15.27 seconds.

Emma McGuinn added another strong performance for the Engineers in the 100-meter hurdles, placing 14th overall with a time of 14.64 seconds.

In the middle-distance events, Dominic Pena represented RPI in the 800 meters, finishing 12th nationally with a time of 1:51.03.

The Engineers also received a strong showing in the throws from Tristan Mangin, who placed 12th in the javelin with a throw of 60.56 meters.
