TROY, N.Y. — Michael Lebenson of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team was named First Team All-Region III today by both ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com.

A First Team All-Liberty League performer for the second straight spring, Lebenson logged one of the league's most prolific offensive seasons, as he led the Liberty League in both home runs (9) and doubles (19) while ranking third in the conference with 41 RBI.

Lebenson also finished among the league's top overall producers with a .347 batting average (18th), 1.121 OPS (6th), 40 runs scored (8th), and 51 hits (10th), pairing middle-of-the-order power with consistent contact. On the bases, he added another dynamic layer, ranking eighth in the Liberty League with 18 steals.
