FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The RPI men's golf team earned a fourth-place finish among 13 teams at the George Cangero Invitational, hosted by Farmingdale State this weekend. The Engineers combined to shoot 20-over par in Saturday's opening round before Sunday's scheduled final round was canceled due to rain.

Topping the leaderboard for RPI was Robert Chuang, who posted a 2-over-par round to finish sixth individually. Chuang carded four birdies during his round to finish just outside the top five in the tournament field.

The Engineers received three additional counting scores of 6-over par, as Sujaan Singh, Tristan Zhang, and Zydon Yuaneach finished tied for 23rd overall. Their matching rounds helped RPI place four golfers among the top 25 individually and secure its fourth-place team result.

Tom Si rounded out the Engineers' five-player lineup with a 9-over-par performance to finish tied for 38th.

Competing as an individual, Matt Hurchalla finished tied for 68th after recording a 13-over-par round.
