BRUNSWICK, Maine – The RPI men's golf team completed three rounds at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Brunswick Golf Club, finishing eighth among 16 teams with a combined score of 32-over par.
Zydon Yuan led the Engineers throughout the weekend, finishing tied for seventh individually at 2-over par. Yuan opened the tournament with a 1-under-par round that featured five birdies, putting himself near the top of the leaderboard from the outset. He closed the event with another strong performance on Sunday, carding an even-par final round with three birdies to secure his top-10 finish.
Tristan Zhang provided RPI with a second top-15 result, finishing tied for 15th at 5-over par across the three rounds. Zhang began the weekend with an even-par opening round highlighted by four birdies, helping establish a strong start to the tournament for the Engineers.
Sujaan Singh finished tied for 32nd overall at 10-over par. His best round came during the second round, when he shot 2-over and recorded an eagle on the 480-yard, par-5 first hole.
Tom Si completed the tournament tied for 67th at 20-over par, while
Robert Chuang finished tied for 74th at 23-over.
